$6.9B Program, Natural Disaster Relief Recovery Arrangements (NDRRA), Reconstruct Queensland's road network following floods and cyclones events 2011 to 2014.

1. Undertake eligibility reviews for the Funding Liaison Office. $4B worth of submissions reviewed and endorsed.

2. Early Contractor Involvement - Lead Panel for pre-qualifying Tier One and Two Constructors for construction works.

3. Prepare the Procurement Management Plan (PMP) for TNRP Program. Initial Program Sum $1.2B. Review and analysis of critical materials items.

2020

Procurement services for the Lihir HV Upgrade project. Oversee the management and coordination of 20 x Procurement Packages (Materials) and 15 x Contract Works/Services Packages. Package ranges: $50K to $Millions.

2024

Victorian based Mineral Sands Project. Large Transport and Logistics Package. Mine to Port of HMC and REEC Products. Develop RFT Inquiry including comprehensive Returnable Schedules and Commercials. Develop Evaluation Plan and Tender Assessment Model. Commercially Assess, Rate and Recommend Tenderers for Short List. Prepare Executive presentation and Short List Justification.

2021-2023

Procurement package management for large value underground development packages including primary ventilation fans, decline mining contract, primary diamond drilling, service and paste hole drilling, raiseboring, underground mine comms infrastructure, civil and bulk earthworks, piping, electrical and SMP infrastructure, labour hire. Large value for money achieved across both projects.

As part of the owner team for the Cowal Underground Project, I reviewed and validated procurement packages submitted for approval by the EPCM Contractor to ensure value for money was achieved.

2020

Assisting a major Queensland Civil Contractor and their Client (Sunwater) with Strategic and Commercial Advice. Undertake Procurement and Contracts Management activities. Prepare Commercial Model for a $20M Bridge/Road Tender. Minimise cost risk during the Tender phase and following Contract Award.

Daily commute to Tokoroa Construction Site. Manage the field procurement (buying and expediting) of construction commodities inc. Piping, Instrumentation, Mechanical, Electrical & Structural requirements. 700 Field Requisitions received and 660 Field Purchase Orders placed. Field Procurement Packages. Range: $2.5K to $150K.

2018

Client – Cadia Valley Operations, NSW. Feasibility Study – Cadia Molybdenum Plant Project. Manage the Procurement/Tender Management of Major Engineered Equipment. Thirteen Mechanical and Electrical Long Lead Equipment. Package range: $100,000 to $Millions. Typically sourced from overseas origin/vendors.

2005

Sourcing and tender process for the Main Condenser ($3 Million) package. Administer contracts for Transformers, Valves and other mechanical tendered packages. Package range: $100,000 to $Millions. Ensure contract deliverables are adhered to.

2024

Develop Procurement Framework for the project. Large value 9MW Chiller Plant, Early and Civil Works, New Camp Kitchen Facility, Wastewater Treatment and Potable Water Plants, Environmental Approvals, Tailings Dams Options Assessment, ECI Raiseboring, Underground Mining, Drilling and Electrical Detailed Design Contracts, Major Surplus Plant Sourcing and Negotiations.

2020

Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements (DRFA). Road restoration works in a remote island community in North Queensland. RFT Development DRFA Works for 2020 – fast tracking the establishment of commercially prudent RFT Documentation to satisfy Council's accelerated program requirements utilising AS-1224. DRFA Works for 2019 – Contract review and interpretation to determine whether variations to the original contract sum were justifiable and provide commercial advice to the client representative.

2000-2005

Manage engineered equipment and contracts work packages on BCL Capex projects relating to RFI, Qualification, Pre award, Contract Award & Contract Administration phases. Redefine BCL's documentation to ensure that procured Goods/Services are procured in accordance with Total Cost of Acquisition principles. Major Engineered Equipment Packages. Range: $100,000's, Millions, Tens of Millions.

2007

Copper Concentrator Onshore and Offshore Options. Tender assessments for long lead major work packages. Prepare Project Procurement Plan. Design commercially appropriate document suites, 'Invitation to Prequalify' and RFT for the Alliance's Major Equipment tendering process. Manage intensive tenders specific to high value packages, long lead time packages, Rod & Ball Mill ($10M), Float Cells ($10M), Regrind Mill ($11M), Filter Press ($10M) and Thickeners.

2007/2008

Manage tender/award phases for major subcontracts for 2 new Bus Stations at Princess Alexander Hospital (PAH) and Park Road. Subcontract works: Frameless Glazing, Sun Control Devices, Roof Finish, Auxiliary Metalwork, FC Ceilings, Handrails & Balustrades, Resilient Tiles, Signage, Fire Rated Ceiling Harrogate Tunnel, Asphalt, Precast Slabs for Cycle way. Package range: $50K to $Millions.
